For someone who dreams of one day traveling and hopefully living abroad with my kiddos, I love this show! But I have to be honest, there is almost zero diversity amongst the show’s participants. This show has been running for years and you rarely see minority families at all. If you do, I feel like there’s a misrepresentation. I’m watching the episode of Victoria and Nicki moving to Italy and it was disheartening. They seriously painted Victoria as a whiney, picky person when in actuality she was just a mom trying to find a safe and convenient place for her and her daughter. Especially since she was a single mom. Not to mention, the realtor who continuously made comments about how the baby would have to adapt and won’t be a baby forever. It’s like ma’am she is not even 2!!! Do better HGTV!
