Put aside the mixed critical reception and give yourself a few episodes to get used to the 3D art direction and for the plot to get to the main arc. I almost judged the show by the opening scene of the first episode alone, but it starts to hit its stride if you can make it a few episodes in. I hope Netflix and I.G. continue their partnership and the series. It has a lot of promise and it is nice to see Netflix sponsoring original anime productions.
