I just sat and watched the 3 stranger movies, the first one was good, really good, esp as it had originality on its side, The second “prey at night” was better imo, but this review is off the new movie, The strangers, chapter one, and wow, talk about lazy this is literally a remake of the original, with exactly the same scenes happening practically in exactly the same order, what a total let down and waste of time, there is one change, (I won’t spoil it for you) but it not worth watching for that, honestly if I’d have made this movie under a different title, they would sue for plagiarism, and they’d win easily, it’s so lazy they, there’s even a scene with a piano and keys being tapped, although in this movie the rhythm is a little slower than in the original when Liv Tyler plays, but honestly if you’ve seen the original don’t bother, if you’ve not seen the original, watch the original its better, in every way, this is not a bad movie, it’s just a poor man’s version of the original, I honestly can’t believe it’s so blatant and a total cash in on the strangers reputation as decent slasher horror franchise, we’re forever hearing about illegal streaming costing film companies money well this is the companies version of it, stealing viewers money to watch a film they seen already, but with better actors (in original)

I enjoyed this film, I watched it on Halloween and that definitely added to the overall ambiance, it’s a run of the mill storyline with enough twists on the classic horror slashers films of pass to make it well worth a look, the only real let down for me is the fact it’s dubbed English which is just a personal gripe of mine, kinda like watching a pirate movie on a shakeup camera in a dark cinema and a silhouette rises and shuffled past to go to the toilet or popcorn stand, still well worth a watch especially if your a horror fan,
