Really unique departure from the traditiinal 3D Mario interms of gameplay and theme. Controls are tight and the flood mechanics add some fun to the movement options among other thing. I loved Luigi's Mansion and Professor E. Gadd's inventions so having the next big Mario game on the same system sport another E. Gadd's invention was an amazing choice. Almost think he deserves a place in smash bros. The visuals are fun and colorful and the game sports some of the best water seen on the gamecube! Really helps give the game an added tropical vibe. Some of the levels are frustratingly difficult but I always felt it added to the accomplishment. I highly recommend this Marii game to any long time fan!
