Your mileage may vary on the final creature design, but I dug its Lovecraftian look. Director Cosmatos wisely keeps it hidden away in quick cuts until the finale when the film goes full tilt B-movie. Watch this with a crowd and get ready to hear the gasps. It’s a good time!
