Ugh. Joe Pesci put in a nuanced and understated performance, as did Anna Paquin in a much smaller role. As for DeNiro and Pacino, I just wanted to look away and spare them the embarrassment of seeing them barely able to walk around or get in and out of cars. Scorsese continues his love affair with dollies and crane shots, needed or not, and the pacing brings to mind molasses on a steep incline. Sebastian Maniscalco was a highlight, as was Stephen Graham, but they didn't have nearly enough to do.
