Forced to walk the line. Not immersive in the slightest. Annoying voice acting for main characters and most of the others. Ai abysmal and NPCs are jokes, it’s just copy paste copy paste. Punch someone with a gun and they just run and cry...really?! Characters aren’t really likeable ( at least with street kid story ) More bugs than a 10 year old pc game made in someone’s basement; disappearing cars, weapons not appearing in hands. Can’t stray from the main story or play around on the side without cops spawning in the middle of nowhere and taking you down. Ultimately the game is just not fun. Character creation is a fraction of what it felt like it would be, even games much smaller have a greater creation system. In a world where people can be modded almost endlessly we have threadbare options for character creations, is that an actual joke? An absolute crying shame for a game delayed many times and many years in the making. Also, fixed first person mode in an open world game?! Really guys. I love the company that made this so it’s just sad to see this result.

Only recently got around to playing this as it was super cheap and have been put off due to very negative reviews...well they are mostly right however! The story may be wobbly and the characters not particularly interesting and smiths dialogue more cheesy that serious but the combat is fantastic! The upgrades/level ups are far too in-depth with too much on offer, similar to the first game which hit refined in the second but now is a mess again. It’s fair to say it’s not a military game like the first 3 it’s more science based/exploration. But why that means everyone is incredibly Effeminate is beyond me...not that that’s a bad thing but even the Krogan seem more dandy. Plus side it seems like a massive game with huge exploration so if that’s your thing then get it while it’s very cheap and give it a go. I’m only 5/6 hours in so maybe the story will pick up but I doubt it.
