I've seen every Wes Anderson film from Bottle Rocket to his latest and this film was bad unfortunately...I desperately wanted to like it but I just couldn't. The set was absolutely beautiful, I mean breathtakingly gorgeous but the dialogue, acting, and complete lack of cohesive plot made it unwatchable. It was like The Grand Budapest Hotel minus any and all plot, like every 5 seconds the dialogue went off on some unrelated tangent and the stiff delivery of every single actor didn't help either. A surprise letdown for sure considering his stellar previous films (Tenenbaums, Life Aquatic, Moonrise Kingdom, etc).
