This, in my mind, in the opening episode was going to be to much of a documentary or over fabricated drama.
By the end of the first episode I wanted more. The acting, the scripting and overall production was/is excellent.
As the devastating drama unfolds this drama had to get it so very right.
And In my opinion they did.
Just a few notes:
1) People in the Post office deserve jail particularly the Director who signed the contract with Fujitsu who was not identified in this drama.
2) Every Sub-Postmaster who lost their jobs during 2000 and 2020 should be given a £million each now.
3) This drama deserves a number of awards including the actors for one of the best dramas I have watched in
4) Fujitsu are the same people who messed up the huge NHS systems upgrade.
5) when are MP’s going to realise that Government IT projects almost always fail or get damaged through very poor project management and to much intervention by Stakeholders.
And companies like Fujitsu almost always find it virtually impossible to complete a project close to their initial customer brief and if they do, as with this Post Office it rarely comes in on time and close to budget.
Not only should sub postmasters get immediate and substantial compensation but use this as to review how all government projects are run and making sure the “customer” is clearly part of the process and proper and rigorous testing layers are in place
