ZERO STARS! Don't waste your time, this movie is homophobic trash. I saw the trailer a few weeks ago and thought this movie would be interesting. Of course, this being a Netflix production one shouldn't have high expectations so I anticipated a few hiccups, but it was worse than I could ever imagine. Seriously: this was probably the worst thing I have ever seen since Battlefield Earth. Bad acting, gratuitous sex and nudity, completely nonsensical plot, bizarre characterisation, disjointed flashbacks, I could go on... Incredibly insulting to lesbians and the LGB community as a whole. I really thought homophobic tropes and sexploitation were passe but I guess Netflix wants to keep them alive.

A powerful, emotional movie about family and the complexities of life. I've seen a lot of great movies in my lifetime, but none have ever moved and drawn so much from me as this film has.
