Fantastic PD James adaptations. If you like the best of Poirot or Foyle’s War you will love this.

The final redemption of a Jedi youngling turned imperial killer (Third Sister) by Anakin/Vader was the highlight of this series. And Vader briefly being Anakin again in the final episode will likely stay with any fan for years to come. Also as expected Ewan McGregor brought his ‘even better with age’ acting skills the series. One of our generation’s best actors, without question. Although there are plenty of clunky parts there’s enough here for any fan to enjoy. Star Wars is never perfect, it just grows as it ages.
