Esoteric can summarize the plot of TRH. At times, Gunty was quite wordy, which made for tedious read. The novel’s characters seemed extraneous and in need of a Playbill to establish cohesion and comprehension. Contrarily, the main characters were poignantly developed and left an indelible mark. The plot’s rising action was ultimately failed by the climax and resolution.
