Superb from start to finish. The characters were totally compelling, the script was fab, the acting entirely convincing. The links to significant events in history was a nice touch. Just loved it!

Really fun Indy film, especially the second half. Probably my fave after the original. Phoebe Waller-Bridge is actually superb as Indy’s goddaughter and co-adventurer. A brilliant part for a woman and she handles it well. Lovely to see Indy’s wife back, last seen 1981. Feels like a circle has been completed.

Delivered brilliantly by Gervais with so much pathos, as a lonely man struggling to find meaning after the loss of his wife. It had me in tears numerous times. The rest of the cast are also great, and you come to care about all of them individually through the three series. And want them to be ok. Penelope Wilton too is superb as the older woman he meets regularly on the cemetery bench, as they mourn the loss of their partners together. And support each other. I enjoyed this SO much, and it will stay with me for a long time.
