This show gets a much worse rep than it deserves. I really love this being set in a previously unexplored era (on screen), the world building and the ensemble cast gives me FLAVOUR. Exploring the grey areas between light and dark in SW is something I've been longing for ever since we encountered the Bendu in SW Rebels, to me this sheds a more nuanced light on the Jedi order, and the complexities that govern it. And the complexities of finding balance and our own individual paths in life.
With the acting talent at hand I do feel they could push the envelope more, but I will give it time. The first few episodes felt a bit dragged out and predictable to me, and the flashbacks impacts the pacing in a way that was hard for me to get used to at first, but boy does it kick up pace by episode 5. I'm fascinated and now I just want more.
