I like part 2 even more than part 1. Visually it is stunning, the acting is amazing, the story arch is engaging and the characters are convincing. I can always turn this movie on if I’m bored of everything else. Like everyone else I admire the hell out of Zendaya and in this movie she embodies Chani with pose and dignity. Timothy Chalamet leaves behind all traces of the young man it felt he was in his other roles and is wonderful in his transformation into the terrifying deity no man should become. All the ‘good guys’ and the ‘bad guys’ are artfully depicted. I love who I’m supposed to love and detest the rest. This is a cautionary tale about prophecy and unbridled faith that I find to be just so damn entertaining!!
