The series has veered into a sitcom. I enjoy the Hawaiian crime adventures with beautiful scenery more than the strained comedic banter and senseless situations. The Thanksgiving episode was the worst.

I love this show. The problems presented are thoughtfully resolved. It’s warm-hearted and promotes important family values I don’t see in other series.
