Wonderful program. I have a thought for the team regarding the 10,000 Pound Elizabethan bronze mortar discussed on the show at Mine Head railway station - just has reached Western Australia!! Anyway, those involved couldn't explain a shield with three wheatsheafs on it. That wheatsheaf trio is part of the arms of the County of Cheshire - might explain something of the origin of the item or the person for whom it was made. Maybe this information could be passed on belatedly..... We love the diversity of the items and the enthusiasm of all concerned. Keep up the good work! John Waterhouse Perth, Australia
