I felt "Micro" was a good read, but it seems to be targeted more towards adolescents (than the general public).

This story is thrilling, but quite violent at times ! Also, a bit on the long side, but Masterton does a good job mixing folklore and fantasy. I found it difficult to stop reading the book, because the story is so gripping !
