I certainly hope the crew working behind SpongeBob knows what they're doing, with Stephen Hillenburg gone I'm really worried about the show, especially when we had to deal with 10 years of lousy episodes. The newer episodes that Hillenburg wrote weren't as good as the first 3 seasons but at least this meant SpongeBob was rising back to the top again after 3 seasons of garbage (seasons 4 and 5 were okay). I do hear a bunch of the other original writers are back in the staff along with some new people that understood and grew up with seasons 1-3 but judging by the ratings I've seen for some of the most recent episodes and long gaps of time between episodes, I'm really nervous about what's to become of the show, especially since I grew up with seasons 1-3.
