I use this study Bible with You Tube Videos linked/ embedded in my weekly Men’s Bible Study. Dr. Getz has created reflect and discuss sections after each chapter that highlight and explain the principles of each scripture passage. The text is explained in modern terms and “deeper dive” questions are then the basis of group discussion. The format makes the Bible text much richer and relatable. Dr . Getz’ style is casual but at the same time he is a noted Bible scholar and Christian evangelist. I am sending copies to my own family. I think this is the most interesting and informative approach to Bible literacy that I have encountered. Highly recommend!
