To be honest, as 2nd gen British citizen and having the very large influence of Nigerian culture in my life watching this was very interesting. At points, it felt right, but at other points, it felt completely off. Especially with the aspect of the aunty and uncle. I have never seen anyone's family member wanting to move into their spouses home or act/behave in such manners. I feel that some of the characters developments were off in terms of the complete coldness of Abishola. I know NIgerians can seem very direct, but hers seems completely off-putting which I think is not the nature of most people I have seen. The premise of the show is promising, but there is something missing and watching as a Nigerian person, where the jokes are a bit off is annoying, I still have hope that the show will get better as I continue through the first season
