though I did not complete the series yet... I guess the first book was pretty cool... I liked the idea of striking off words and showing them as the thoughts of the lead. it did not revolve around lust first of all and the story and plot were different. overall I liked it and I'm looking forward to reading many of Tahereh Mafi's books.

I don't usually give a five-star rating but this one had to get it. Verity was perfect in every way, although I'm not very fond of Colleen Hoover's books I loved this one. it has mystery, thrill, rom-com, and most importantly characters and dialogues that keep readers on hold. I love how she hasn't released a sequel yet because that would just spoil the story...overall I loved it and would totallyyyy recommend it!

Honestly. This book is pretty overhyped and I don't know what the story revolves around... after every 2 pages, there was a scene. If you're only into those things you can go for it, and if you're searching for a good story, I would not recommend it. [also I was not able to complete the series]
