This is what 2020 and the world needed. There were so many lessons and treasures in this!! My 4yo wasn’t quite there yet and got bored, but my 13yo and 10yo boys have watched it three times. The entire movie felt like balm on a wound, addressing incredibly deep issues that humanity is facing and needs to wake up to. How to look outside of ourselves, what purpose can actually look like, that we can stop chasing “excitement” and find beauty in everyday life, etc. Even if my kids only get one take-away from this movie, I have no doubt it’ll be a good one. Heck, even if it’s just a new appreciation for jazz!
