It was well made but I was disappointed that it seems they used helicopters for a huge portion of the climbing and work, also the use of oxygen. Nim felt overly boastful to the point of maybe hard to believe. Even saying on one of the climbs that he didn’t sleep and was hungover, stuff like that diminishes the whole thing. I don’t know much about mountaineering but I thought the helicopter and oxygen was a no no, at one point they even tried to act like oxygen makes it more dangerous or challenging because you might run out…
I can’t remember the documentary but a really excellent one exists about an amazing Nepalese sherpa, it was super impressive, maybe it raised my expectations too high.
