The storyline, concept, characters and overall quality of this show is done well. It has potential, which is why I’m even giving it 3 stars. There are definitely some plot holes, which I can deal with, but the format and amount of pointless scenes is kind of ridiculous.. I can appreciate a slow paced show, to what some would consider a very frustrating level. Heck, the handmaids tail is in my top 5.. But it’s honestly boring how little this show actually accomplishes in two seasons.. I’m currently in the middle of the second season so I don’t know how it ends, but at this point I just have it turned on in the background and glance up every now and then because that’s how little the scenes change or progress in any productive way.. which again, isn’t necessarily a bad thing if it’s done well, but in my opinion this one just isn’t.
