I loved this show. I wonder how many hours and artists it took because the visuals were so awesome. So detailed. The artists/director had a lot of focus on ensuring the senses are activated when watching it. When in a scene your emotions are activated.
The is a lot of focus on using the element of wind/air to show the emotion and atmosphere. There is more movement that your usual animation in that the movement of certain things which are rarely focused on get focus here. Those extra movements enhance the experience quite a bit. It is nearly sensory overload sometimes but in a good way.
There are many scenes I have rewinded just to make sure I experienced it all. The fight scenes were incredibly detailed. I mostly watched them at 0.75 speed to get the full emotional and visual effect as I found most of them too fast lol.
The story is very intricate, I will have to re-watch it to get all the details. I am sad that there isn't a season three. I sadly suspect they won't make one. But this kind of art has truly moved me. Those scenes, the beauty, the characters will stay with me for a while.
