Just read this book for my english class and it's quite possibly one of the worst books i've ever read. This book is just a racial story made up of stereotypes about both white and black people that society makes and, not to sound racist, but this book advertises that it is ok for black people to be racist towards white people, but if the white people are racist towards the black people being racist towards them, it's not ok. Not to mention the constant swearing, this shouldn't be taught in schools. (this is coming from a 15 year old) this book constantly uses the f-word, the b-word and even the n-word. This book also tries to make people think that they need to be politically correct about the police brutality that happens to a ton of black criminals. I personally feel like those kinds of protests should happen if a innocent black people are killed by the police for no reason, but they always happen because a black criminal was doing something wrong, and the police either had no other choice or they overreacted. This book is a prime example of stereotyping everything and everyone to make it seem like people of color are always victimized, I'm not racist, but it just doesn't seem right to me, hate me if you want. Definitely wouldn't recommend
