While it is a great book on black struggles in America. The toxic masculinity and homophobia that is blatantly mentioned at times is baffling. While acknowledging our struggle as black people it is also great to break these mental/emotional generational curses that often lead us to pass down generational trauma. I would only recommend this book to adults who are mentally/emotionally well.
