The monster of the week format does this show no favours. It feels like the Clyde tourist board found a radio show about the area and funded the transfer to TV.
But I think I love it.
The reason I gave it 2 stars is I don't want it to become popular, 2 seasons is plenty.
The whiplash going from daughters underage drinking to sexual assault and then lecture on Norse folklore is painful and feels so heavy handed. The fact there are few complaints can only be the result of nobody watching.
You should join the majority and give it a miss. Or don't, I'm not your mum.
