The regular cartoon is a silly/goofy spoof of previous super hero shows, that were far more serious, maybe too much, which made it fun and endearing. This movie, however, takes that concept to a ridiculous level. The minds behind the movie seem to have created a new level of hollow, frantic humor, unfortunately minus the humor. They seem to be trying to squeeze gold out of a piece of copper. The regular TV cartoon, it turns out, is actually better than the movie. Looks like they jumped the shark. Sorry, just my opinion.
