I read all 3 books and waited a few months and I am reading them again. Incredibly written, with one of the most imaginative space battles I have ever read! This was in book 2. In book 3, the 3 dimensional/2 dimensional storyline is The Most creative piece of SF I have ever read. Each book gets better. Sometimes the author dumps a little too much technical info, but it is worth the read and the reread!!
