Very nicely filmed and acted. Definitely not a cheery film, but there are sweet moments, and an underlying "message" or theme that has a gratifying ending, for my taste anyway. I understand the negative reviews due to some dark issues and scenes, but I was ultimately moved by the ending. Also, I am a sci-fi fan and this had some great other-planet visuals, cool space walk, etc. I did not over analyze it, which may have helped. Worth a try if you like sci-fi and distopian themes, supported by a strong human element.
