Started like something we've already seen so many times since there is show business, but with each new episode they were digging deeper and deeper under the piles of problems any postmodern society, and especially the American one, is facing. And yeah, it is all about how the story is being told - the tv show makers did a fantastic work! Rarely have I seen something so convincing - pain, joy, helplessness, small victory, etc are depicted realistically, but hey, you are not gonna watch documentary, you are going to watch a tv show quite similar to the Streets of Philadelphia as a make. This good!
