The authors worked for Lockheed Martin, makers of bombs that kill children, then with that accolade, they go on to consult with brands on how to feed to poor during Covid, which (duh) most brands did. This is nonsense from two authors who went to work for war criminals and then became consultants on how to recycle. They also promote “employees are family” which we all know is a ploy to drain workers and maximize profits. The book was also incredible expensive with any payoff for real professionals in the social impact realm. These are capitalists who like many others use social Justice initiative to make the public think terrible brands are good through the means of exploiting both employees and customers. These authors cloak their promotion of end stage capitalism in sheep’s clothing so they can make a profit. Hard pass!
