Shazam started off slow and never really went anywhere. There was a few laughs, but very few. I was really hoping DC would deliver with this latest installment, but didn't. In truth i would say to save your money and wait for the digital rental release, this way your family could watch without having to pay for the disappointment. The story could have been a lot better and unfortunately the actors had to work with what they were given. In short, just wait.
