Oddly, I saw Season 3 (Yandex) before Seasons 1 & 2. It wasn't really imperative to have done so but cleared up a question or two. When I watch a season in a week (mass consumption) I pick up on things I might have thought about otherwise over the weeks...cumulative effect. Father Acosta hits the racist theme pretty hard as does some of friends and father - again I saw it three or four times in a week. (Ben) Muslims face more racism in American than black people and by black people. Evil brought it up very briefly - Ben rolled his eyes. I am not Catholic but the church is cast as a demon in Evil. Slavery shouldn't be a crutch 300 years later. That doesn't address unwed mothers with kids from multiple partners and absent fathers. And getting educations. Obama and Malcom X both talked about that. The Nun is a strong Catholic so she wouldn't say anything but think about the role of women in the Catholic Church in terms of a business. Women can be employees (Nuns) but not bosses (Priests) that is by design. No American business can do that. All the really bad people are white. The real Demon in the Catholic Church is barely touched upon - molesting children nor covering it up and the billions dollars to settle the cases. Nor that they declare bankruptcy, close schools and churches.

It's fun and the backstory of Ian Fleming was interesting. Mack the Knife was not released until 1955 by Louis Armstrong. Re-released in 1959 by the more well known version by Bobby Darren. The song fit though. Mack the Knife was an underworld criminal in London - obviously used a Knife.

Elsbeth is Autistic and they make fun of her; they call her a weirdo. That's horrible. Watching the show is a kin to eating a chocolate soufflé. The first bite (episode) is amazing, the second is good and the third you decide it is too rich and stop eating.

The story is about teens in Astoria, Queens - there were no Saints - still aren't. Not a great place then and worse now.

3.5 stars rounded up. It's fun and it's a woke free zone. I wish Greg was as funny and insightful as he thinks his... It is hilarious watching the team crank up Jessica. What's with her googles err glasses? Maybe the cast can take her shopping for glasses, clothes, makeup and a haircut. Why is it Conservative female commentators are so much better looking than Liberal ones? Universal truth.

I would have given it a 5 but for the Hollywood pls forgive us for making this movie ending where men are always wrong. DR L was the perfect microcosm of woke they are corrupt and a sham. I've hated Bruce Dern since he killed John Wayne in The Cowboys.

After 6 episodes I'm done. * Episode 6 a cop is being tried for mudering a gay black man * The bad guys are all white males except an over the top understanding loan shark - who is black. His enforcer is white. * Presumably a white male that bombed the chuch - a recuring theme - just like in Birmingham, AL * The 3 main characters are black Enough already...

He is a self-absorbed megalomaniac. Why have Christians been fair game? He worships himself. He is a naive lackey for Islamic terrorists - even betraying his own people.

It can't decide what it wants to be. Sorta funny, dopey, sorta serious sorta something. Ready, fire, aim.
