Boring and full of stereotypes

Absolutely captured the classic pixar feeling. The animation style is so cute and adds the perfect charm to the characters and environment. Turning Red is a wonderful coming of age film with a heartwarming story and characters. I would advise that the target audience for this isn't super young children (under 12). This is a coming of age movie, not a “princess and unicorns” type movie. (Think of the maturity difference between Tangled and barbie movie, this is more Tangled)

All the negative reviews here are people who completely missed the point of the movie and are instead complaining about how conservatives are portrayed and that it wasnt “funny” enough despite it being a satirical portrayal of the way capitalism in america has grown too big for its britches.

Im not usually a fan of batman movies because they usually push the whole “holier-than-thou” idea that batman is somehow above the rest of Gotham's citizens, but this was the first batman movie that left me saying “this is what batman is actually like”. Its a great character study of bruce waynes inability to completely cope with the trauma of growing up too fast due to losing his parents, and the action/fight scenes are really good (coming from someone who is usually bored out of my skull during action scenes). The chemistry between the characters is super convincing, this is definitely my favourite dc movie.
