Overall the movie was ok. The first act was ok, the second act was pretty boring with some funny moments but the third act saved the movie for me. The daughters of atlas were a highlight of the film for me and the action is still as good as usual when it comes to dc. The third act encapsulates all of the themes that involve the character of Shazam which is why I found it so good. Overall the movie is just ok. Go to see it for the third act though

Awesome film by all aspects. The cgi could use a little work but that’s just a problem with marvel as a whole nowadays. Characters were top notch and I felt for every one of them. Story was very good and it added to the character driven story. Action was very brutal and a welcome surprise. Everything in this movie had the goal of making the viewer feel something and in my opinion it succeeded in that goal. Great movie and probably the best in phase 4 of the mcu
