When I watched this movie again, I realized something. I actually liked this movie less than before. Halloween II is definetly a good movie, but isnt a homerun. Laurie is bed bound most of the movie and doesnt do much. Halloween II tried to be the end of Michael Myers, but when Halloween 4 came out, everyone looked at Halloween II and just patted it on the head. Halloween II has many good parts, from the kills, to the small confined setting which adds to the suspense, and some very iconic scenes that will stick with fans for a long long time, this movie is a solid sequal and goes very far. Its a shame that some of the following movies didnt live up to it.

Hacksaw Ridge is by far, my favorite film of all time. It is so well done in showing the hell of war with some heartfelt moments mixed in. Andrew Garfield is amazing and pulls off Desmond Doss' characters so well. The fact that this is true makes it more insane! The story of the medic who fought World War two without a weapon is a story of bravery, sacrifice, and what it takes to be a true hero, not by being able to lift buildings or catch criminals, but by risking everything to save somone.

This was the first horror slasher film I ever watched, and this movie sparked my love for horror films. While the other three sequels are either an average film or the low point of the film series, nothing will ever beat the original. Scream is a self aware, funny, and at points actually scary movie. The premace of the movie with the two highschoolers getting revenge on the girl who's mother broke one's family apart is a believable and plausable motive for the killers. Neve Cambell, Courtney Cox, David Arquette and the rest of the cast are all great actors and make the movie even more entertaing with self aware dialogue, the creative and fun kills, and most of all, the influence this film had on the entire horro genre.

Ok, they tried. Andrew Garfields second outting as Spider Man did not work as well as we would have liked. The Amazing Spider Man 2 suffers from too many villians, not a great premiss or plot, and the introduction of characters that did not work well for the plot either. Jamie Foxx does a decent job of being Electro and did a good obsessive Spider Man fan. Andrew Garfield obviously still had fun doing this and this movie was not awful. It was obvious why they had to kill the series and bring in Tom Holland two years later for Civil War, but the movie atleast tried to be a good Spider Man movie.

Before I watched Halloween, slashers were all the same to me. Some teenagers running around getting killed one by one by an immortal killer with a mask and a weapon. But then came this film. When I watched it, my whole world of horror movie watching changed. Halloween was a whole new take on the slasher genre. The movie was scary without showing much gore, and the scenes were suspensful and scary with the beautiful score, the amazing scenes and shots, and above all, the shape himself, Michael Myers. Michael is a intimidating man and the mask he wears had become an icon in the horror icons hall of fame. The twenty year old Jamie Lee Curtis was an incredible actor and an iconic final girl, and the late Donald Plesence was a great Dr. Loomis with the whole made doctor vibe but also frantic search for his paitent. Halloween is my favorite horror movie and it will forever be an icon of a slasher film.

The fourth instalment of the Scream series is a complete rewrite of the rules of a horror movie series and it put a mondern take on the slasher film. Scream 4 was a very enjoyable movie and it was fun to watch. The kills were taken to the next level, the cast was great, the scenes were funny and entertaining, and most of all, the hospital sequence at the end was a very tense scene where you didn't know if they were going to kill off the three original cast members. All in all, the movie was well made and the final film of Wes Craven who sadly passed away afterwords. Scream 4 is a tribute to him and a solid end to the film series that he created. Watching this movie again made me think that I loved this movie a year ago, but now it is just a good movie for me. It tries to be the first Halloween movie to much. However, I like the origin story of Michael Myers in this universe and I like that we got Danielle Harris back which made me get excited. Rob Zombie tries hard and makes a good installment and this is probably his best movie, but not the best Halloween movie. The story still tries to hard to be the original, and it is still a Rob Zombie movie, meaning it has its... dialogue... but the movie is still pretty good and is a movie I definelty would revisit for anyone who has mixed feelings.

This movie is not bad in anyway. There was no way that the directors were going to match Casino Royale since it was such a perfect James Bond film. Quantum of Solace just suffered from multiple problems. What didnt help it in regards to outside film issues was the writer strike that forced Daniel Craig to write an action scene to fill up the runtime. The villain is a bit bland compared to other villans and the movie gets rushed a little, but it isnt all a mess. The movie offers some great action as well as some emotional moments as well. Quantum of Solace continues where we left off and maintains the intense and serious Bond that we were introduced to in Casino Royale and Daniel Craig still makes an excellent preformance in this movie. Overall, this movie gets a 4.2 from me. Not bad, but it just needed more work.

With mixed reviews I was sceptical about putting this one at the bottom of my list, but to be honest, after watching this movie, I just wanted to know what was going through the directors heads when they made this film. Jason Goes to Hell is just a weird anthology movie. Jason is barley in it and the movie just feels like it doesnt belong in the series as a canon entry. This ancestor stuff makes no sense and the side stories are stupid and dont fit, and the movie introduces so much that we havent seen before, and that isnt a good thing. All in all, the film is definetly a film you can skip in your next Friday the 13th Movie Marathon.
