Saw the trailer once, and immediately had to watch it. Finished the season in less than two days--it was that good. The suspense really pulls you in. Ugh, and don't get me started with the sound design, absolutely phenomenal work--really puts you in the mood of the movie and into the heads of the characters, and not to mention that it's addicting to listen to.
Oh, and the "Ma'am" thing, nuanced way of pronouncing. It was that very thing that sold me on this show.
Richard Madden, his eyes (and jaw) really sold the role.
All the characters were great, such as Keeley Hawes as Lavender, Nina Toussaint-White, Anjli Mohindra, Sophie Rundle, and of course to Ash Tandon and Gina McKee --their performances were top-notch. Oh my gosh, and the finale, I think I didn't breathe for the whole episode.
Look, point is, the seasons great. It's so great I can't put my finger on the feeling of watching it. It's like, frantically screaming into a pillow while destroying your laptop with my noggin great.
Look, go watch it, man. It has its drawbacks, some big, some small, but it is one show that is worth watching.
Here's hoping to another great season! 10/10 would Ma'am again
*Hey Google, why isn't Ash Tandon as DCI Sharma isn't credited as one of the stars?
