Hunger Games: the Ballad of the Songbirds and Snakes is a gripping cinematic masterpiece from the intense emotions and storyline that will never leave you bored. I truly have never seen a movie like it. Watching it, it leaves you with an uneasy feeling as the amount of thought provoking and emotional events that take place really take you aback and process. With clear themes of corrupt government, the evils of mankind, desensitization to death, the power of our choices, and the value of human life are messages that linger with you as you walk out of the theater. I highly recommend this for teens and above able to really process the weight of this movie. The acting is phenomenal and gripping and I’ve truly never seen anything like it. I wish I could give more than 5 stars in this rating.
