Well i just fulfilled my childhood dream. I remember right after I saw the first Avatar in theatres with my little brother, (who’s now in Turkey) and my grandpa, i said there HAD to be a sequel. My little 9 year old mind was blown. Anytime people asked my favorite movie, since then i’ve always said Avatar. As an artist I appreciate the visuals and the concepts on another level. Creating technology, a language, a “religion.” The method of acting used. The editing and time these films take. All of the work put in by probably hundreds of people who might not get recognitition. I just saw the 2nd movie on its premiere in theatres at the IMAX with my boyfriend and it was FAR from a let down. So beautifully articulated and molded. Keeps your heart racing but also gives you relaxation. Brought tears to my eyes of course at the end. Some people may think it’s ridiculous that I can feel this way about a movie, but my 9 year old self is SCREAMING inside. Bravo James Cameron.
