As a 12-year-old, I was glued to each episode. My friends all loved the show. As I think back, we mostly loved the helicopter scenes. The rest of it was boring dialogue in between the standard arrival of the "battle copter". Like most shows of this generation, we could predict when the cool stuff would happen, 20 minutes into the show and just at the very end. Regardless, we loved it. The insignia was something my friends and I all tried to copy onto our notebooks. We thought we were so tough. True TV nostalgia. What a thrill of a machine.
