I am sorry, but I found the number of characters and the back-and-forth time flashbacks as well as the poor subtitles to all be a bit off-putting. And the finale last night was poorly conceived; adding in another character of dubious importance and authority and deciding the outcome of the old players by this new unknown player.
I like Clicr Owen and I liked the situation he was in, but he seemed to be the static to which every other character clung.
I like British drama and do not mind the slowness of the action, but I did mind the number of irrelevant characters and the way the series ended. I just expected a little more from the writers.
I am glad I watched though.
