Underwhelmed and disappointed to say the least. Austin Butler was just Elvis in a WWII uniform. Band of Brothers and The Pacific were better written and the characters were more engaging.

Set aside the fact that I love historical dramas, this film opens up one of the many government secrets, in this case the CIA’s connection to the crack cocÃan epidemic in the USA. And it’s ’s a joy to see a list of top actors brings this story to life.
It’s too bad that the Clinton impeachment took up all the oxygen when the original story broke.
Finally, in this time of increasing criticism of the news media, the film confirms the need for a free press in a democracy.
