This book was beyond insightful! Many times during my reading I often cried because I felt the pain of the mothers whom had their children ripped from their arms and wombs..it is a tragedy what decision makers at that time did to black folks. This book helps paint that picture so we can be better aware of how we are impacted today. I recommend this book to anyone seeking to learn about black history.
