How could anyone spend 15 years training as a martial artist and look like they can barely lift up a pillow. The character is just wrong for the storyline. His inability to reason before he jumps into a fight doesn't suggest that he acquired any wisdom despite remembering all ghses teachings. There a just so many mismatches despite generally good storylines.
