Jasmine wasn't properly cast & although I like Will Smith the actor I did not like Will Smith as the Genie...I'm partial to the over the top Robin Williams Genie because he's funny & outrageous. Smith's version fell flat & he can't sing. They should have cast a black male comedian that could be outrageous & can actually SING...Chris Tucker, Cedric The Entertainer, Steve Harvey, maybe Sinbad?
