I didn’t love the music … I didn’t know he conducted mostly old religious pieces, the scene in the church was powerful but could have done without the chorus. I don’t feel I got to know L.B very well. I wasn’t expecting this to be about his marriage but more about him. The acting was strong but the movie fell short, when it was over I wanted to know more about him and his life. Bradley’s choice to explore more of L.Bs family life wasn’t it for me.
