Airplane 2 is a poorly executed sequel repeating many of the gags already used in the original Airplane movie. While many of the original films gags were subtle and clever, the same can’t be said for the sequel. Forget any semblance at attempts for realism. Passengers disembark on the moon without helmets or space suits. Not to mention there is no attempt to mask the fact the shuttle is no more than a plastic toy. Yes, I know realism isn’t this film’s forte, but come on. At least try to make it look as good as the first Airplane movie.
